Apple Signals More Product Reveals Are Coming After New iPad mini Launch

Apple is making this week a major showcase for new hardware, and the newly unveiled iPad mini may only be the first announcement. Although the company has an event scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, it has already begun rolling out products ahead of the official presentation.

Following the introduction of the latest iPad mini, Greg Joswiak, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Worldwide Marketing, suggested that more news is on the way. In a post on X, Joswiak described it as “an exciting week” and called the new iPad mini “the biggest update ever to iPad mini.”

The refreshed tablet reportedly brings a major set of upgrades, including an 8.5-inch OLED display with a 1512x2316 resolution, an A20 Pro chipset, IP67 dust and water resistance, and an ultra-thin 5.4mm design. That makes it one of the most significant updates the iPad mini lineup has received in years.

Attention is now turning to what Apple may reveal next. According to Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman, Apple has increasingly used Wednesday events as the final stage of a multi-day announcement sequence. A similar approach was reportedly used around the March 4 event, which followed several days of earlier product launches.

Gurman suggests that Apple could introduce the M6-powered iMac and MacBook Pro next, with a touchscreen MacBook Pro potentially arriving on Wednesday. While Apple has not confirmed the exact lineup, the speculation points to a busy few days for the company as it continues expanding its Mac and iPad portfolios.
