Fiat Multiplina Concept Previews a Multipla-Inspired Future for Electric Micromobility

Fiat is continuing to explore the spirit of the Multipla with a fresh, more compact interpretation. Revealed as the Multiplina, the concept is presented as a forward-looking take on electric micromobility rather than a distant design exercise, suggesting it may have a clearer path to production than the broader Multiplay concept shown earlier.

Following the debut of the Multiplay concept at the Paris Motor Show 2026, Fiat has now introduced another Multipla-influenced study. While Multiplay focused on a larger 3-in-1 vehicle strategy, Multiplina is positioned as a future foundation for urban-friendly E-Cars and could point more directly toward a production model.

Fiat Multiplina blends SUV and MPV ideas

Although the Multiplina is less radical than the earlier concept, Fiat still emphasizes versatility. The brand describes it as combining the comfort and adaptability of an SUV with the practical load-carrying attitude of a pickup, all within a compact electric vehicle footprint. The goal is to make maximum use of every part of the vehicle.

Details remain limited, but the design clearly references multiple generations of the Multipla. Styling cues appear to draw from the original 1950s model as well as the unconventional 1990s Multipla, creating a retro-futuristic identity for a new generation of city-focused mobility.

Fiat also indicates that the Multiplina concept will underpin more than one future electric model. During an Investor Day presentation, a company representative suggested that the vehicle shown is expected to be priced around €15,000, while a second related model is also being developed. Both are slated for release around 2028.
