Introduction
Samsung is expanding its Certified Re-Newed program in the United States by making refurbished Galaxy smartphones available through Amazon.com. Previously limited to Samsung’s own store, the program now reaches one of the largest online marketplaces in the country, giving shoppers another trusted place to buy discounted Galaxy devices that have been restored directly by Samsung.
The expansion includes select models from the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S25 lineups, with pricing listed directly on Amazon. Unlike ordinary refurbished phones, Samsung’s Certified Re-Newed devices go through a manufacturer-controlled process, making them a more appealing option for buyers who want lower prices without giving up the confidence of an official warranty.
What makes Samsung Certified Re-Newed phones different?
Samsung says these devices are handled by its own specialists and repaired using genuine Samsung components. That includes a battery replacement, which is often one of the biggest concerns when buying a used phone.
Each device must pass 147 quality checks before it earns the Certified Re-Newed label. After passing inspection, the phone receives a new IMEI and comes with a limited 1-year warranty. Buyers can also add Samsung Care+, which provides coverage for accidental damage from handling, including drops, spills, and mechanical breakdowns.
The phones arrive in new packaging made from 100% recyclable material. Inside the box, customers will find a charging cable, a SIM ejector tool, and a quick start guide.

What is not included yet?
Although Samsung has expanded the Certified Re-Newed program on Amazon, the current lineup does not include everything Samsung offers through its own refurbished store. The Galaxy S26 series, which Samsung added to the program in the US and the UK in September, is not yet available on Amazon. Foldable Galaxy devices are also absent from the Amazon listing for now, meaning shoppers interested in those models still need to purchase them through Samsung.com.
Even so, bringing Certified Re-Newed Galaxy phones to Amazon gives Samsung a much larger audience and gives US customers another reliable route to save on recent Galaxy hardware while still receiving manufacturer-backed support.
