Oppo Find X10 vs Oppo Find X10 Pro Max: Which premium flagship should you choose?

Source: Date:

Introduction

Oppo’s Find X10 lineup has made a fast move from its Chinese launch to international markets. The standard Find X10 and the more advanced Find X10 Pro Max are now available in Europe and India, bringing top-tier ambitions, huge camera hardware, and prices that put them firmly in premium territory. This week’s poll asks a simple question: which of these two new Oppo flagships would you rather own?

A high-end launch with high-end prices

The Find X10 family is expensive, and there is no way around it. Oppo has placed the series at the very top of the smartphone market, with the Pro Max version costing significantly more than the regular model. Below are the launch prices for the key regions:

Find X10 (12/256GB) Find X10 (12/512GB) Find X10 Pro Max (12/512GB)
UK £1,110 £1,250 £1,500
EU €1,300 €1,500 €1,800
India ₹140,000 ₹170,000 ₹200,000

These prices are especially bold because the previous-generation Find X9 Ultra remains a strong alternative. For comparison, the Find X9 Ultra in 12/512GB form sells for roughly £1,450, €1,700, or ₹170,000. Oppo does offer some pre-order bonuses, but the core issue remains: this is a very costly series.

Oppo Find X10 and Find X10 Pro Max

Find X10 Pro Max: the most ambitious model

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is the device that goes after true ultra-premium status. It delivers an impressive hardware package, but it is not perfect. One notable drawback is the battery in European models, which is rated at 7,150mAh rather than the 8,000mAh unit used in Chinese and Indian versions. Also, the 80W wired charging feels a little underwhelming for a phone at this price, the speakers are weaker than expected, and the Quick Button has been removed.

Even with those issues, the Pro Max is still a photography-focused powerhouse. It features three 200MP rear cameras: a large 1/1.3-inch main sensor, a 3x 70mm telephoto camera with a 1/1.56-inch sensor, and a 13mm ultra-wide camera that also uses a 1/1.56-inch sensor. The front camera is a 50MP shooter with a 1/2.76-inch sensor.

Inside, the Pro Max is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9600 Pro, a 2nm chipset using the latest Arm C2 CPU architecture and Mali G2-Ultra NX GPU technology. In some benchmark results, it even outperformed the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, although its cooling performance was only average.

Find X10: the more accessible option

The standard Oppo Find X10 is positioned as the more affordable choice, though it still carries a premium price. It uses the Dimensity 9600M, a 3nm chipset based on hardware from the 9500 generation. It may not be as cutting-edge as the Pro Max chip, but it should still offer strong performance for everyday use and demanding apps.

The camera system is where the difference becomes clearer. The Find X10 has two 200MP cameras instead of three. Its main camera uses a slightly smaller 1/1.4-inch sensor, while its telephoto camera keeps a 1/1.56-inch sensor but pairs it with a 2.8x 65mm lens. The ultra-wide camera drops to 50MP with a 1/2.75-inch sensor.

The standard model is also more compact. It has a 6.59-inch display with a 1272p+ resolution and a 144Hz LTPO refresh rate. The Pro Max, meanwhile, moves up to a larger 6.78-inch panel with similar display specifications. Both phones share the same battery rating: 7,150mAh in Europe and 8,000mAh in other markets, along with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Which one would you pick?

The Oppo Find X10 Pro Max is unquestionably the more impressive device, but its price may be difficult to justify. The regular Oppo Find X10 could offer better value, especially if you do not need the largest screen, the strongest chipset, or the third 200MP camera.
