Tomorrow marks an exciting day for tech enthusiasts as Apple gears up for its highly anticipated product launch event. Fresh insights from Bloomberg’s Mike Gurman in the latest PowerOn newsletter shed light on what Apple plans to unveil, with a particular focus on smart home technology.
One of the showstoppers is expected to be Apple’s new smart home control hub, dubbed HomeView. This innovative device will come in two designs: a standard "countertop" model featuring a stylish metal speaker base available in four chic colors (space gray, silver, starlight, and pink), and a sleek wall-mounted version that will be offered in space gray and silver.

Both variants of HomeView are set to be powered by the Apple A18 chip, the same processor found in the iPhone 16 lineup. Anticipated features include a 6-inch touchscreen display and a tailored selection of Apple first-party applications, although users should note that there will be no App Store available for downloading additional apps. The expected launch date for shipping is mid-November.
In addition to HomeView, Apple is rumored to introduce an updated HomePod mini outfitted with the S10 chip, previously used in the Apple Watch Series 10, Watch Series 11, Watch SE 3, and Watch Ultra 3. Color options for the new HomePod mini will include pink, white, green, blue, and midnight shades.
