Good news for Samsung users in the United States! Following its initial release in South Korea, One UI 9 has made its way to Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, and Flip6 devices in the US. This latest update promises enhanced features and security enhancements for an improved user experience.
Last week, Samsung began its One UI 9 rollout for the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6, first launching in South Korea. Now, the update has officially landed in the US.
Users who have purchased Galaxy S24 devices from AT&T and T-Mobile will start receiving the update over-the-air. The update file is nearly 4GB, so it's advisable to download it over a robust Wi-Fi connection. Once installed, users will enjoy One UI 9 based on Android 17, along with the September 2026 security patch. For Galaxy S24 models, the new firmware version concludes with EZIF.
Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Flip6 devices sold unlocked in the US are also receiving the update. These come with firmware version F956U1UEU4EZIH for the Z Fold6 and F741U1UEU4EZIH for the Flip6. Expect these updates to roll out to other regions soon.
