Introduction: Tesla continues to innovate and enhance its Model 3 lineup with exciting upgrades that are now available in the United States, Mexico, and Puerto Rico. These updates not only improve the driving experience but also incorporate significant technological enhancements, making the Model 3 more competitive in the EV market.
Tesla China recently unveiled a series of upgrades for the Model 3, which include an impressive new 16-inch display, a stylish new gray interior option, and V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality. Following suit, Tesla USA has announced similar enhancements for its Model 3 lineup, although notably, Canada was not mentioned in the announcement.
In line with the upgrades introduced in China, every Model 3 variant in the US will now feature the larger 16-inch center touchscreen as standard. While the announcement did not specify details related to refresh rates or resolution, it is anticipated that these aspects will also see improvements, aligning with the enhancements noted in the Chinese model.
Although the new gray interior option is currently unavailable in the US market, the Model 3 Performance edition will receive a black headliner and an impressive range upgrade, increasing its EPA range from 497 km to 509 km. Additionally, peak power will improve from 510 hp to 528 hp.
Significantly, the Model 3 Premium AWD variant has undergone a remarkable upgrade, improving its acceleration from 0 to 60 mph to just 3.8 seconds, down from the previous 4.2 seconds. Its EPA range now stands at 557 km.
