The vivo X Fold6 has officially made its global debut, and we are here to take you through its unboxing experience. This new foldable phone promises to offer exciting features and capabilities that may set it apart in the competitive market of foldable devices.
In the box, you'll find a protective case, an 80W charger, and a USB-A to USB-C cable, all of which add to the overall value of the product.
Notably, the case designed for the foldable phone attaches primarily to the "rear" portion, serving as a functional cover that enhances grip, thanks to its textured surface.
The case is well-designed, and the inclusion of a charger is a thoughtful touch.
As vivo finally steps into the global foldable market, the next question arises: Which devices will it compete with? The Honor Magic V6 is a significant competitor, offering similar dimensions and capabilities that make for an interesting comparison.
The vivo X Fold6 benefits from a superior battery capacity and advanced camera features, boasting a striking 200MP main camera sensor compared to the Honor's 50MP sensor. This gives it a compelling edge in photography.
While the Honor Magic V6 features matte displays that attract mixed opinions, it remains a cost-effective alternative; the expected price for the vivo is around €2,200, while the Honor is quoted at approximately €1,650.
Holding the vivo X Fold6 gives a sense of quality and regularity in size, being comparable to the Galaxy S26+ in dimensions but slightly thicker and heavier, weighing in at 228g.
Featuring a compact cover screen and a spacious folding display.
One of the X Fold6's major highlights is its impressive camera setup. The main camera delivers remarkable specs, while the 70mm zoom capability is noteworthy for a foldable phone. Coupled with Zeiss branding, it hints at an exceptional photography experience that we aim to explore further.
