The anticipation for the upcoming OnePlus 16 is building as benchmark scores for a prototype have surfaced online. With cutting-edge specifications and remarkable performance metrics, the new device is set to impress tech enthusiasts and smartphone users alike.
Recently, the AnTuTu team identified a OnePlus device bearing the model number PYB110 in their database. This prototype is equipped with the newly released Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 SoC, coupled with a substantial 16GB of RAM and a massive 1TB of storage. Notably, this phone features a remarkable refresh rate of 185Hz, indicating it’s designed for an outstanding user experience – likely making it the much-anticipated OnePlus 16.
As shown in the image below, this prototype achieved an astonishing score of 5,384,433 points on AnTuTu v12. The breakdown of the scores includes a CPU score of 1,458,283, a GPU score of 2,010,584, a memory score of 766,362, and a UX score of 1,149,204.
It's important to note that these scores are derived from a preliminary run of a prototype device, so they should be taken with a grain of caution, despite being impressive. OnePlus has officially confirmed that the device will feature a system-wide refresh rate of 165Hz (with the 185Hz likely applying to specific gaming scenarios). The release is imminent, promising ColorOS 17 based on Android 17. Additionally, a recent certification indicated support for 100W wired charging. Rumored features include a 200MP main camera and an impressive 9,000 mAh battery, further solidifying the OnePlus 16’s position in the competitive smartphone market.
