In a significant leap for smartphone technology, MediaTek recently announced the launch of its Dimensity 9600 Pro, a cutting-edge chipset manufactured using a 2nm process. As the competition heats up in the smartphone market, vivo has managed to steal the spotlight, preparing to unveil its X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max on September 21. These devices will officially become the first smartphones to feature the new MediaTek chipset, just a day before Oppo launches its Find X10 Pro Max.

vivo proudly announced this milestone through its official Weibo account, emphasizing its leading position in adopting the latest innovations. The X500 Pro series is expected to showcase some impressive capabilities, including support for 4K120fps 10bit Log recording and output. Additionally, it will feature an advanced imaging NPU 2.0, boasting "industry-leading 60fps autofocus," and a self-developed imaging chip that enables "industry-leading 4K Dolby Vision portrait video." The inclusion of a "new high-performance AI processor" further highlights vivo's commitment to enhancing user experience through state-of-the-art technology.
