Xiaomi has officially launched the beta version of HyperOS 4, inviting selected beta testers to experience its latest software. After first announcing HyperOS 4 in mid-August, the tech giant has started rolling out the initial beta build for a few of its global devices, showcasing its commitment to enhancing user experience.
The beta rollout is presently available for three devices: the Xiaomi 17 Ultra, Xiaomi 17, and the Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi. If you're one of the lucky testers with these models, head to Settings > About phone and tap on the version number to manually check for the update, in case you haven't received a notification yet.
On September 17, the pool of eligible devices will expand to include the Xiaomi 17T, 17T Pro, 15, and 15 Ultra. However, Xiaomi has yet to clarify whether more devices will receive the beta version in the future. Additionally, there is currently no information regarding the release timeline for the stable version of HyperOS 4, leading to speculation about the waiting period for users eager for a full rollout.
