Tesla has officially revealed the specifications of its highly anticipated Semi, tailored for the European market. After announcing back in August that the electric truck would soon make its way to Europe, the company has now shared detailed information about its capabilities and features.

The European version of the Tesla Semi boasts an impressive 550 km range when fully loaded at 40 tons, which also aligns with its gross combination weight. This range estimate is based on a cruising speed of 80 km/h. The curb weight of the Semi stands at 9,100 kg. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with an electric power take-off (ePTO) that can provide up to 25kW.

Powered by three motors, the Tesla Semi has an estimated energy consumption of 1 kWh/km. Charging options are robust as well, with the capability to charge at up to 800kW on a Megacharger, allowing for a recovery of 60% of its range within just 30 minutes. For depot charging needs, Tesla will also provide a Basecharger designed for overnight use, offering up to 120kW DC and adding 60% of the Semi’s range in four hours.

The interior of the Semi is designed for driver comfort, featuring "ample standing room," a coat hook, a heated and ventilated seat, acoustic glass, sound-absorbing materials, and dual touchscreens for enhanced usability.

A notable design change from the US version is the replacement of large side mirrors with cameras, providing a more streamlined appearance. The wraparound LED headlights have also been replaced with dual strips on either side of the vehicle. The Tesla Semi is expected to commence deliveries in Europe starting in 2027.
