Vivo is gearing up to launch its X500 series, with exciting updates emerging about the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max models. The latest revelation centers around the chipset that will power these devices, showcasing a significant leap in mobile technology.
While the exact model of the chipset has not yet been disclosed, vivo has confirmed that both the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max will utilize a state-of-the-art 2nm MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
This innovative Dimensity chipset is manufactured using TSMC's advanced second-generation 2nm N2P process, and it boasts a completely redesigned GPU architecture along with an “ultra-high-performance NPU”.
In addition to the powerful chipset, the Pro models are equipped with a new imaging chip that enables impressive capabilities such as 4K 120fps 10-bit Log recording, 60fps video autofocus tracking, 4K Dolby Portrait video, and convenient one-tap AI video highlight generation. Moreover, the hardware-level video super-resolution feature promises to enhance video quality significantly.
Recent leaks speculate that the chipset could be the forthcoming Dimensity 9600 Pro, which is yet to be officially announced.
