This device promises a distinct feature set catering to gamers looking for flexibility and performance, especially when it comes to streaming capabilities.
One of the most remarkable aspects of the Lenovo Cloud Gaming Handheld G700 is its offline streaming functionality. Utilizing Lenovo's proprietary Legion Stream protocol, users can stream games directly from their PC without needing an active internet connection. This feature is made possible with the inclusion of a dedicated dongle in the retail package. While offline streaming is a highlight, the console also supports cloud gaming for gamers on the move.
The handheld features a sizable 7.82-inch FHD LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, falling short of the OLED displays found in some competitor devices. The G700 is powered by a mid-range Dimensity 7400 chipset, offering 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of RAM, with storage options ranging from 128GB to 256GB. Users can also expand their storage via a microSD card, adding to the versatility of this device.
To support long gaming sessions, the G700 packs an 8,000 mAh battery, ensuring that users stay engaged without frequent interruptions for charging. The device operates on Android 16, an uncommon choice in this segment, reflecting Lenovo's commitment to providing an updated user experience.
