Introduction
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra has sparked excitement among tech enthusiasts with rumors suggesting it will closely resemble its predecessor, the Galaxy S26 Ultra. With a focus on design fidelity, a new rear camera layout, and essential features carrying over, the Galaxy S27 Ultra aims to deliver an evolution rather than a revolution.
Recent leaks, including CAD renders, have provided insights into the design and specifications of Samsung’s next flagship device. According to renowned tipster Ice Universe, the Galaxy S27 Ultra will maintain the same dimensions as the S26 Ultra, with the most significant change being its redesigned rear camera setup.
The new flagship model is expected to retain the S Pen slot located at the bottom-left side of the device, along with the speaker grille in the same position. In contrast, the other models in the Galaxy S27 lineup – namely the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27+, and Galaxy S27 Pro – are reportedly set to feature the speaker grille on the right side.
Interestingly, prior speculation suggested that the Galaxy S27 Ultra might come in two different sizes. However, Ice Universe has clarified that the smaller model referenced in earlier leaks is indeed the Galaxy S27 Pro. This model will boast a similar camera configuration to the Ultra but will lack the S Pen functionality.
As for the camera system, the Galaxy S27 Ultra is anticipated to showcase a triple-rear camera setup, while both the Ultra and Pro models are rumored to incorporate the coveted Privacy display feature borrowed from the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
