Xiaomi is gearing up to unveil its latest tablet, the Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro, following the successful release of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro in September of last year. With cutting-edge features and a self-developed chipset, this new model aims to elevate the user experience further.
Recent leaks have surfaced, revealing details about the Pad 8S Pro's specifications. The device is powered by Xiaomi's innovative Xring O3 SoC, complemented by a robust 16GB of RAM. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its impressive camera array, featuring a 50MP main camera on the rear, supported by an additional 2MP lens, and a high-resolution 32MP front-facing camera for stunning selfies.
The Pad 8S Pro 12.5 boasts a massive 12,000 mAh battery, ensuring extended usage without frequent recharging. It will launch with HyperOS 4, likely based on the upcoming Android 17. Given that the leaks are in Chinese and considering Xiaomi’s previous release patterns, it’s anticipated that the new tablet will debut in China. The availability in international markets, however, remains uncertain, especially since devices powered by last year’s Xring O1 SoC have yet to reach beyond China.
Speculation suggests that the Pad 8S Pro may launch in the next few weeks, possibly alongside the highly anticipated Xiaomi Mix Fold 5 (also referred to as the Xiaomi 18 Fold), which is expected to feature the same Xring O3 chipset.
