Cook emphasized that the challenge isn't rooted in component shortages or production delays but is simply a reflection of overwhelming interest in iPhones, iPads, and Macs. He stated, "this isn't a partner or supplier issue. The issue is an incredibly strong demand."
This indicates that while the supply chain can handle Apple’s standard order volume, the anticipated surge in orders may exceed their capabilities. It's a favorable dilemma for the technology giant, indicative of its strong market position.
Looking ahead, the question remains whether the supply chain will adapt in time for Q4, or if demand will continue to outstrip supply as we transition into early 2027.
