Xiaomi is set to elevate its tablet offerings with the introduction of the new Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro. Following the launch of the Xiaomi Pad 8 Pro last September, this anticipated model showcases impressive features driven by Xiaomi's latest self-developed chipset.
Recent leaks have revealed an image of the device's About screen, unveiling key specifications. The Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro is equipped with the Xiaomi Xring O3 SoC, complemented by a robust 16GB of RAM. Photography enthusiasts will appreciate its 50MP rear camera accompanied by a 2MP secondary camera, alongside a 32MP selfie camera that promises stunning self-portraits.
Powering this impressive tablet is a formidable 12,000 mAh battery, ensuring long-lasting performance for various tasks. The Pad 8S Pro will operate on HyperOS 4, which is anticipated to be based on Android 17. Given the device's current presentation in Chinese, it is likely that the launch will occur first in China, with future availability in other markets still uncertain. This is particularly notable as previous models powered by the Xring O1 SoC have not reached markets outside China.
The Xiaomi Pad 8S Pro may make its debut in the coming weeks, potentially alongside the Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, which is also expected to feature the high-performance Xring O3 chipset.
