Apple Achieves Record Q3 Earnings Driven by iPhone Sales and Service Growth
This quarter has proven to be momentous for Apple, showcasing their resilience against prevailing industry challenges. With robust demand for iPhones and a significant surge in services revenue, Apple posted impressive financial results. The company's revenues soared to an unprecedented $109.4 billion, reflecting a 16% increase year-over-year, while net profits reached $29.8 billion, marking a remarkable 27% rise from the same quarter the prior year.
During the three-month period ending June 27, 2026, Apple experienced a robust demand for iPhones, generating $54.2 billion in revenues. This figure represents a significant 21% increase compared to the same period last year.
The services segment, encompassing digital content, cloud services, financial services, and advertising, also showed remarkable growth, hitting $30.7 billion in revenue. Apple announced it now has reached a milestone of 1.5 billion paid subscriptions across its ecosystem.
Revenue from Macintosh computers experienced a strong 29% increase, bringing in $10.3 billion, whereas iPad sales saw a slight decline to $6.2 billion. Additionally, the wearables, home, and accessories division reported a modest growth of 7%, totaling $7.9 billion.
