The Nothing Phone (4b) has been unveiled, boasting the company's longest-lasting battery to date. However, it should be noted that the (4b) is not a direct upgrade from the (4a); it fits more closely between the (4a) and the (3a) Lite.
The (4b) comes equipped with a robust 5,200mAh battery in its global model, providing up to 22 hours of continuous video streaming. In India, a different version with an even larger 6,000mAh battery will be available. Both models support 33W wired-only charging and 7.5W reverse charging.

Powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chip, the (4b) outperforms the Phone (3a) Lite, which is equipped with the Dimensity 7300 Pro, but lags behind the Phone (4a) featuring the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4. It is worth noting that the 6 Gen 4 is essentially the same silicon as the higher-end model, just downclocked. For context, the (3a) Lite has a suggested retail price of €250/£250, while the (4a) sells for €350/£380/₹40,000.
The Nothing Phone (4b) is priced at €330/£300/₹35,000 and is available for pre-order at Nothing.tech. Buyers can choose from White, Black, and Blue colors. An 8/128GB version is available in most regions, but unlike the (3a) Lite, there is no microSD card slot. In India, a variant with 8/256GB configuration will also be sold for ₹39,000. Whichever model you choose, both use LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

The (4b) features a 6.77” OLED display with 1080p+ resolution, closely resembling the display found on the (3a) Lite. This 120Hz panel achieves a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and performs exceptionally well outdoors with up to 1,200 nits of brightness. Dragontrail Pro Glass provides display protection.
On the rear, the main camera consists of a 50MP sensor (1/2.76”) with an f/1.8 lens and optical image stabilization (OIS). It is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor (1/4”, f/2.2 lens) with a 120° field of view. The main camera is capable of recording 4K video at 30fps or 1080p at 60fps.

Similar to the (4a), the (4b) includes a Glyph Bar on the back with four white LEDs and one red LED for displaying timers and recording indicators, which can be customized through Nothing OS. The front-facing camera is a 16MP unit (1/3”, f/2.4) with an 82° lens.
The (4b) supports dual-SIM functionality, with Japan being the only country to offer an eSIM option. It is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi 6 (ax), Bluetooth 6.0, and NFC (with the exception of India). GPS positioning is managed through single-channel GPS, complemented by stereo speakers and two microphones, though it does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Available Colors: White • Black • Blue
The phone carries an IP64 rating, which confirms splash protection. Internal testing has shown it can withstand submersion in up to 25cm of water for 20 minutes.
Moreover, the in-display fingerprint reader uses optical technology, and a physical proximity sensor is promised. The Essential Key located on the side can activate Essential Voice, Essential Search, and various AI-powered applications.

The Nothing Phone (4b) ships with Nothing OS 4.1, based on Android 16. It will receive OS updates for three years and security patches for six years.
