After unboxing the Pro version, we're excited to explore the global Oppo Reno16.
In an unusual twist, the standard model is visually identical to the Pro variant. Both feature a stunning 6.32-inch display.
The base model also showcases the 3D Pop Planet design, which creates a nebula-like effect on the back. We appreciate this aesthetic, as it exemplifies Oppo's flair for stylish design.

True to Reno series tradition, the Reno16 boasts a remarkable selfie camera. The front-facing unit offers an 18mm wide angle, a bright f/2.0 lens, and a generous 1/2.75-inch sensor.
For comparison, the Reno16's selfie camera sensor matches that of the flagship Vivo X300 Ultra and Xiaomi 17 Ultra, exceeding the capabilities of the iPhone 17 Pro and Galaxy S26 Ultra. We anticipate exceptional selfies from this device.

We previously discussed the key differences between the Reno16 and the Reno16 Pro during our unboxing of the Pro model, so we’ll skip that here. However, it’s worth noting the screen as one of those differences.
While both models share the same 6.32-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1216x2640px, the Reno16 features a slightly reduced maximum refresh rate of 120Hz.
It remains a vibrant and bright panel, perfect for daily use. Just ensure the size works for you.

The Oppo Reno16 is now available worldwide, with prices starting at €899 for the 8/512GB model. Customers placing orders before July 31 will receive a €100 discount. It is offered in Pop White, Twilight Violet, and Dream Purple.
The package includes the phone, a clear case, an 80W charger, and a USB-C to USB-A cable.
