Samsung has recently rolled out the stable Android 16-based One UI 8.5 update for the Galaxy A24 4G. Now, the company is reportedly testing the Android 17-based One UI 9 for this device.
The One UI 9 build for the Galaxy A24 4G was discovered on Samsung's servers, with the firmware version A245FXXUCGZF4. However, the timeline for the release of the One UI 9 beta or stable update for this smartphone remains unclear.

Currently, the only devices that have received the One UI 9 beta are the Galaxy S26 series smartphones, although Samsung is actively working on One UI 9 for several Galaxy models.
While details on the expansion of the One UI 9 beta program to additional devices remain sparse, it is known that Samsung's upcoming folding smartphones—the Galaxy Z Flip8, Galaxy Z Fold8, and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra—will be the first to feature One UI 9 out of the box, with their expected unveiling set for July 22 during an event in London.
