The longer variant of the Premium Model Y, the Model Y L, has officially launched in the US. Initially introduced for the Chinese market, this version is now ready to take to the streets in America. It features a longer wheelbase, enhanced interior space, and three rows of seats accommodating up to six passengers.
Prospective buyers can configure their Model Y L on Tesla's official website; however, the sole trim available currently is the Model Y L AWD Launch edition. Priced at $61,990, it is approximately $16,000 higher than the standard Model Y Premium.
Model Y L Interior Features
The Model Y L boasts an EPA range of 325 miles powered by an 82 kWh battery and dual motors, generating a combined output of 514 hp.
Interior features include heated and ventilated seats in the first and second rows, while the third row comes equipped with heating only.
