Samsung has officially unveiled its first pair of smart glasses, named the Samsung Galaxy Glasses, which will run on Android XR with One UI XR. These glasses will be managed through a new smartphone application called the Samsung Galaxy Glasses Manager.

Recently, SammyGuru obtained early access to this app, revealing images of the Galaxy Glasses both as standalone devices and housed within their case.

These particular glasses are modeled after Warby Parker designs. The Galaxy Glasses Manager app will allow users to adjust settings, install software updates, and toggle features on and off. Users can easily import photos and videos captured with the glasses directly to their smartphones. Additionally, if you own a Galaxy Ring, you will be able to control the glasses with it; control from a Galaxy Watch will also be an option via a dedicated Galaxy Glasses Controller app. The ring supports gesture controls.

While a specific launch date for the Galaxy Glasses has yet to be announced, they are expected to debut later this year. Samsung may provide more details at its next Unpacked event, rumored to take place in London on July 22.
