Recent rumors suggest that the iPhone 18 Pro Max will feature the largest battery ever in a non-folding iPhone, and a new leak claims to provide the exact specifications.
According to the leak, there will be two battery sizes. Similar to last year, the eSIM-only version will have a larger battery capacity of 5,425 mAh, while the model with a physical SIM slot will contain a 5,235 mAh battery.
If this information is accurate, it marks a significant improvement, as iPhones have not been particularly known for large battery capacities. Should these figures hold true, the iPhone 18 Pro Max will surpass the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra's 5,000 mAh battery.
For comparison, the iPhone 17 Pro Max had a 4,823 mAh battery for the model with a physical SIM, and the eSIM-only version included a 5,088 mAh battery. This means the iPhone 18 Pro Max will see an increase of 412 mAh for the physical SIM model and an additional 337 mAh for the eSIM-only variant compared to its predecessor.
