Two recent leaks provide a closer look at Samsung's forthcoming wide-screen foldable device, expected to be named the Galaxy Z Fold8. One leak showcases a dummy unit of the device, while the other compares its dimensions and form factor to the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Previously, we had glimpsed the Galaxy Z Fold8 dummy in white; the latest leak now presents it in a black hue, potentially referred to as Graphite.

The dummy unit suggests that Samsung is retaining the overall design language from the Galaxy Z Fold7, featuring a flat frame, flat sides, a slim profile, and a vertically aligned pill-shaped camera module. However, the new model appears noticeably wider and shorter than its predecessor.

Additionally, the design bears a striking resemblance to Apple's anticipated foldable iPhone and the already available Huawei Pura X Max.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 dummy features a dual rear camera setup, which leaks suggest will include a 50MP primary camera paired with a 50MP ultrawide sensor.

The device's power and volume buttons are positioned on the right edge, while a USB Type-C port can be found at the bottom.

In another notable detail, prominent tipster Ice Universe shared a render that compares the Galaxy Z Fold8 with Samsung's Galaxy S26 Ultra.

This comparison indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold8's cover display is only slightly wider than that of the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The Galaxy Z Fold8 is rumored to make its debut at an Unpacked event on July 22, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, which is expected to succeed the Galaxy Z Fold7, as well as the Galaxy Z Flip8. Furthermore, Samsung is likely to unveil the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and Galaxy Watch9 during this event.
