A leak last month indicated that the Redmi Note 17 series would debut in China in July. Redmi has officially confirmed that the new Note lineup will launch this month.
This announcement coincides with a milestone celebration for the Redmi Note series, as the company revealed in a Weibo post that global sales have surpassed 500 million units.

The Redmi Note series has been in the market for approximately 12 years. The upcoming Redmi Note 17 series will succeed the Note 15 lineup from last year, offering enhancements in performance, display, battery life, and more.
The Redmi Note 17 is rumored to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset, a flat display with a 1.5K resolution, a 50MP main rear camera, and a robust 9,000mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Note 17 Pro is expected to be powered by a Dimensity 7500 SoC, a 10,000mAh battery, and a remarkable 200MP main rear sensor.
