The cause of the disruption, however, remains unconfirmed.

Issues Plague Meta's Social Media Platforms
As of 5:51 p.m., it has been confirmed that Instagram is down, with 15,159 reports logged on Downdetector. Facebook is also struggling, with 10,259 reports at the same time.
Additionally, other Meta platforms such as Threads and WhatsApp are encountering issues, although complaints about them remain under 500.
Functionality Severely Impaired

As the outage persists, individuals have turned to other social media platforms like X and Reddit to confirm that the problem is not with their devices or internet connections.
