As anticipated, Samsung has officially launched its Galaxy M47 in India today. The latest addition to the M-series showcases a design and specifications similar to the Galaxy A27, along with notable enhancements.

The most significant upgrade is the battery capacity, now featuring a robust 6,000mAh that supports fast charging of up to 45W. It also includes bypass charging, enabling the device to draw power directly from the charger while plugged in, which is particularly advantageous for gamers and aids in keeping the device cooler.

In other aspects, the M47 closely resembles the A27. It sports a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display boasting FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ and includes a 12MP front-facing camera nestled within a punch-hole cutout.

Powering the device is a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor, paired with options of 6GB or 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The rear features a triple-camera arrangement with a 50MP main sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro camera.

On the software front, it runs on One UI 8.5, based on Android 16. Samsung is promising an impressive six years of Android OS upgrades alongside the same duration of security updates.
The Samsung Galaxy M47 will be available in two vibrant colors: Rogue Red and Blaze Blue. The pricing for the 6GB/128GB variant starts at INR 22,999 (approximately $243 or €214), with sales set to commence on July 4 through Amazon India.
