In light of the rising RAM prices driven by AI data centers consuming a significant portion of the supply, OnePlus seems unaffected and has launched the OnePlus 15R with increased memory options, available exclusively in India for now.

Initially launched last year with a maximum of 12GB of RAM, the OnePlus 15R now offers an additional option of 16GB of RAM paired with 512GB of storage for INR 61,999 (approximately $657 at the current exchange rate).

The entry-level 12GB/256GB model is priced at INR 54,999 ($583), while the 12GB/512GB variant retails for INR 59,999 ($636) on OnePlus' official Indian online store. The OnePlus 15R features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1272x2800, a refresh rate of 165Hz, and a peak brightness of 3,600 nits. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 SoC and boasts a 50MP main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 32MP selfie camera, and a substantial 7,400 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.
