Along with the stable release of Android 17, Google has begun rolling out Wear OS 7 to compatible Pixel Watch models. This update introduces several new features and system improvements, with Google claiming enhanced battery life.
The Wear OS 7 update is currently being issued to the Pixel Watch 2, Pixel Watch 3, and the latest Pixel Watch 4.

In an official blog post, Google outlined the new features and improvements arriving with Wear OS 7. Notably, the company asserts that this update can boost battery life by up to 10% compared to Wear OS 6.
Additionally, the update introduces Live Updates, providing real-time information from supported apps directly on your wrist. Wear OS 7 also allows users to control media playback across all connected devices.

Google has also confirmed that Wear OS 7 will support their upcoming Android XR-powered smart glasses, developed in collaboration with Samsung, enabling users to control this wearable directly from their smartwatch.
Gemini Intelligence in Wear OS 7Moreover, the Gemini Intelligence features announced last month will be available on select Pixel Watch models later this year.
