Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 Expected Launch: A Look Ahead to 2024

Source: Date:

A recent report from South Korea indicates that Samsung's successor to the Galaxy Ring is set to debut next year. The original Galaxy Ring was launched in 2024, meaning it will have been on the market for nearly three years before its successor arrives—a notable difference in a tech landscape often dominated by annual refresh cycles.

This report suggests the Galaxy Ring 2 may be unveiled alongside the Galaxy S27 lineup early next year. Samsung is prioritizing enhancements in battery life, comfort, and sensor accuracy for the new model, addressing some of the most significant shortcomings of the original device.

Here's when the Samsung Galaxy Ring 2 is coming

The upcoming Galaxy Ring 2 is expected to be thinner and lighter than its predecessor, providing a more comfortable wearing experience with a projected battery life of 9 to 10 days. Improvements in sleep analysis accuracy and additional "expanded insights" into cardiovascular health are also anticipated. Furthermore, future iterations of the Galaxy Ring series may explore non-invasive blood glucose measurement technology, although this feature may not be available in the Galaxy Ring 2.
