The Honor Play 80 Plus has officially been unveiled as the third addition to the Play 80 series, following the earlier releases of the Play 80 and Play 80 Pro in China. This new model boasts a substantial 7,500mAh battery and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset.

Featuring a 6.61-inch TFT LCD display, the Play 80 Plus offers HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 1,010 nits. The display integrates a 5MP front-facing camera nestled in a punch hole cutout. On the rear, it is equipped with a 13MP primary camera, complete with an f/1.8 aperture, which enables 1080p video recording.

One of the standout features of the Play 80 Plus is its 7,500mAh battery, which is rated for an impressive 20 hours of video playback. According to Honor, the battery will retain up to 80% of its capacity after six years of use. The device supports 45W wired charging as well as reverse charging capabilities.

The smartphone operates on MagicOS 10.0, based on Android 16, and includes Honor's AI suite. A dedicated AI shortcut key allows users to access the AI assistant and quickly launch shortcuts and applications. Additionally, the device provides IP64 ingress protection.

The Honor Play 80 Plus is available in Aquamarine, Black, and Gold color options. In China, pricing starts at CNY 1,699 (approximately $249/€213) for the 6/128GB variant, rising to CNY 2,099 (approximately $307/€263) for the 8/256GB configuration.
