Honor Play 70C Launches with 5,300mAh Battery and 6.75-Inch Display

Honor has discreetly launched its latest budget smartphone in China, the Play 70C. This device is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chipset and boasts a substantial 5,300mAh battery. Additionally, the company unveiled the Play 80 Plus, featuring an impressive 7,500mAh battery and a Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 SoC.

The Honor Play 70C features a 6.75-inch LCD display with an HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate.

For photography, the device is equipped with a single 13MP rear camera that supports 1080p video recording and features up to 10x digital zoom. On the front, it houses a 5MP camera for selfies and video calls.

With a powerful 5,300mAh battery, the Play 70C integrates an octa-core MediaTek chipset, offering configurations with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

This device operates on MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15, right out of the box. Connectivity options include dual SIM support with 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Honor Play 70C is available in three stylish colors: Ink Rock Black, Lake Blue, and Moonlit Silver.

Currently, the smartphone is being sold in China, with the pricing starting at CNY 599 ($90) for the 4GB/64GB variant. The 4GB/128GB version is priced at CNY 699 ($105), while the 6GB/128GB model retails for CNY 799 ($115).
