While we cannot confirm specifics, the timing appears quite appropriate. In February, Toyota announced its fully electric, three-row Highlander SUV, on which the Lexus TZ will be based. Both SUVs will utilize the modified TNGA-K platform, optimized for improved interior space and efficiency.

Prototype Insights

A prototype of the Lexus TZ has been spotted testing on European roads, suggesting a potential launch in late 2026 or early 2027. Despite its camouflage, it is evident that the design will have distinct differences from that of the Toyota Highlander.
