Lenovo Legion Y70: Key Specifications Unveiled Ahead of Launch

Lenovo has shared new details about its upcoming Legion Y70 (2026) smartphone. Last month, the company confirmed its return to the smartphone market with an upgraded version of the Legion Y70, which is scheduled to be unveiled in China on May 19.

The device will showcase a design inspired by Motorola and will be available in two color options. It is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (non-Elite) SoC.

In a couple of teasers shared on Weibo, Lenovo confirmed that the Legion Y70 will feature a 2K resolution display, claimed to be more efficient than 1.5K resolution panels currently available in the market.

Additionally, the phone will come equipped with a substantial 8,000mAh battery, which is expected to endure over 1,200 charge cycles.

While Lenovo has not confirmed the exact chipset, the company did disclose that the phone will include a 5,500mm² vapor chamber for effective cooling. It will also feature an improved antenna designed to enhance connectivity.

The teasers indicate that the phone will incorporate several AI functionalities, and it will also showcase a triple rear camera setup.
