
Motorola has officially launched the highly anticipated Moto G87, featuring the most advanced main camera ever in a G-series smartphone.
The device boasts a remarkable 200MP sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) and offers 2x lossless zoom. Additionally, it includes an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 32MP selfie camera.

Powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 6400 SoC and equipped with up to 12GB of RAM, the Moto G87 features a 6.78-inch "Extreme AMOLED" display with "1.5K" resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, impressive 5,000-nit peak brightness, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The G87 is certified for IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and it meets MIL-STD-810H standards for durability, including protection against drops from heights of up to 1.2 meters. Motorola claims the G87 delivers up to 280% "more powerful audio" than its predecessor through its dual speakers.

The device is equipped with a robust 5,200 mAh battery, supporting 30W wired charging, and operates on Android 16. The Moto G87 is set to launch in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America "in the coming weeks." Pricing details are yet to be revealed, and interestingly, the phone will be known as the Moto G Max in select markets.
