Introducing the Motorola Moto G47: A 108MP Camera and 120Hz Display

Motorola has officially launched the Moto G47 alongside the Moto G37, Moto G37 Power, Moto G87, and a series of Razr 70 smartphones.

Powering the Moto G47 is the Dimensity 6300 SoC, which comes with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Users can choose from storage options of up to 256GB of UFS 2.2, expandable by an additional 1TB via a microSD card. The device operates on Android 16 with Hello UX, although Motorola has not disclosed how many Android version upgrades and security updates the Moto G47 will receive.

The Moto G47 features a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD display that boasts a 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The screen includes a punch-hole cutout for an 8MP selfie camera.

On the rear, the smartphone sports a squircle-shaped camera module housing four lenses. This includes a 108MP primary camera with 3x lossless zoom, a 2MP Macro Vision camera, a 2-in-1 light sensor, and a flash.

A 5,200 mAh battery powers the device, supporting 20W wired and 6W reverse wired charging.

Additional features of the Moto G47 include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers equipped with Dolby Atmos for enhanced audio, Hi-Res Audio capabilities (wired only), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and NFC support. The device also boasts an IP64 rating, providing dust and water resistance, in addition to MIL-STD-810H certification and eSIM support.

The Moto G47 will be available in three color options: Pantone Impenetrable, Pantone Nautical Blue, and Pantone Fuchsia Red. It is set to launch across Europe, META, Asia Pacific, and select global markets in the coming weeks, though pricing details have yet to be announced.
