Spotify aims to enhance your workout experience by introducing guided workout sessions. While the platform already offers a plethora of playlists, this new feature makes it easier to incorporate fitness into your daily routine.
Available to both Free and Premium users, these guided workouts can be accessed on your phone, computer, or TV. Users can discover workouts through the new Fitness hub, via the 'Browse All' tab, or by searching for the term “fitness.”
To kick off this initiative, Spotify has partnered with well-known creators such as Yoga with Kassandra, Caitlin K’eli Yoga, Sweaty Studio, Chloe Ting Home Workouts, Pilates Body by Raven, Abi Mills Wellness, and Sophiereidfit, among others.
While Spotify is primarily recognized as an audio service, it offers a mix of video and audio-only workouts. These sessions are categorized within the Fitness hub to help you find the ideal workout, including options like Cardio: Floor, Cardio: Outdoor, Yoga, and Pilates.
Introducing Spotify's Fitness Hub
Pursuing a broader fitness landscape, Spotify Premium subscribers will gain access to content from Peloton through a new partnership, featuring a growing catalog of 1,400 on-demand classes. This extensive selection includes outdoor runs, structured mat-class options across various disciplines such as strength, cardio, yoga, and meditation, led by popular instructors like Rebecca Kennedy, Ally Love, and Rad Lopez. Notably, no Peloton equipment is required to participate in these classes.
