The Poco F8 Pro comes at a higher price, but it is equipped with a flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset (now one year old). Additionally, it offers a telephoto camera (50MP with 2.5x zoom) and a larger 6,210mAh battery with 100W wired charging (22.5W reverse). This gave the Poco an advantage in testing, achieving a 17:35h Active Use score compared to the Galaxy A57's 13:59h.

The Poco F8 Ultra features the newer Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. It also showcases a larger 6.9” display (increased from 6.59”), a 6,500mAh battery (achieving an 18:52h Active Use score) with 50W wireless charging, a larger main 50MP sensor (1/1.31” vs. 1/1.55”), a longer 50MP telephoto lens (5x/115mm), and a better 50MP ultra-wide camera (versus 8MP).

The Ultra's premium features do come at a higher cost. Meanwhile, the Realme 16 Pro+ is more competitively priced against the F8 Pro. Although it does not have a top-tier chipset (it features a mid-range Snapdragon 7 Gen 4), it is equipped with a larger 6.8” display and a substantial 7,000mAh battery (achieving 18:18h usage). Its camera hardware includes a remarkable 200MP main lens (1/1.56”), a 50MP telephoto lens (3.5x), and a 50MP selfie camera (versus 20MP). While video stabilization could have been improved, the camera performance impressed in our review, outperforming the Poco F8 Pro.

Additionally, two slim Motorola phones are currently on sale. The Motorola Signature marks a cautious return to the flagship segment with its 7mm thickness, housing a 6.8” display (165Hz LTPO) and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset (not Elite). It boasts a substantial main sensor of 50MP (1/1.28”), a 50MP periscope camera (3x zoom), a 50MP ultra-wide, and a 50MP selfie camera. The 5,200mAh battery, while not enormous, performed admirably in our tests with a 16:13h Active Use score and supports both 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

However, its battery capacity decreases to 4,800mAh (13:36h), with charging speeds limited to 68W wired and 15W wireless. The Edge 70 features a 6.7” 120Hz OLED display and is powered by the same Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset as the Realme. Its camera system includes a 50MP main sensor and a 50MP ultra-wide lens, lacking a dedicated telephoto module.
