Indian tech innovator Ai+ has introduced an exciting new lineup of smartphones, including its first foldable device. The launch event unveiled the Nova Flip, alongside the Nova 2 and Nova 2 Ultra – all boasting impressive features aimed at enhancing the user experience. With powerful specifications and competitive pricing, these new models mark a significant addition to the Indian smartphone market.
Ai+ Nova Flip
The brand's inaugural foldable phone, the Nova Flip, features a stylish flip design reminiscent of the Nubia Flip 2. Running on nxtQ OS based on Android 15, the device shares many specifications with its counterpart. The Nova Flip comes equipped with a 6.9-inch foldable OLED main display boasting FHD+ resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and is powered by MediaTek's Dimensity 7300X chipset, all backed by a 4,325mAh battery with 33W charging support.
In terms of photography, the phone features a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 32MP front-facing camera. The Nova Flip is available in a single color option: Glacier White, priced at INR 49,999 ($540) for the 8/256GB variant. It will be available starting May through authorized retailers across India.
Ai+ Nova 2
The Nova 2 is designed around a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display featuring HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Unisoc T8200 chipset, offering configurations of 4GB/6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage, expandable via a dual SIM slot that accommodates a microSD card.
For photography enthusiasts, the Nova 2 sports a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture and an additional auxiliary sensor. Operating on nxtQ OS based on Android 16, this device is powered by a robust 6,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities. Additional features include IP64 rating for dust and water resistance, a headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Nova 2 is available in a variety of colors: purple, green, pink, blue, and black. The starting price for the 4/64GB model is INR 8,999 ($94), while the higher-spec 6/128GB variant will retail for INR 10,999 ($119). Open sales are set to commence on April 14.
Ai+ Nova 2 Ultra
The Nova 2 Ultra boasts a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a sharp 1.5K resolution and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. The display can reach up to 2,500 nits of peak brightness and features a 13MP selfie camera embedded within the screen.
Powered by the more advanced Dimensity 7400 chipset, the Nova 2 Ultra comes with options of 6GB or 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable. On the rear, you will find a 50MP main camera featuring Sony’s IMX752 sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide lens. The phone operates on nxtQ OS based on Android 16, equipped with a 6,000mAh battery and supports 33W wired charging. It also provides IP68 ingress protection for superior durability.
The Nova 2 Ultra is offered in colors such as blue, green, purple, black, and red. It starts at INR 16,999 ($184) for the 6/128GB model, with the 8/128GB version priced at INR 18,999 ($205). Open sales will kick off on April 17.
