Samsung Ups Production for the Galaxy S26 Series Amid Strong Demand
In response to unexpectedly high demand for its latest smartphones, Samsung has decided to increase production of the Galaxy S26 series this month. The company originally planned to manufacture 2.4 million units, but revised figures reveal a significant uptick in orders.

Recent reports indicate that demand has driven Samsung to upscale production significantly. The revised numbers for April now show that Samsung intends to produce 1.3 million units of the Galaxy S26, 1.5 million units of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, and only 200,000 units of the Galaxy S26+.
To facilitate this production increase, Samsung secured additional components in March. Analysts attribute the S26 Ultra's popularity to its innovative Privacy Display feature, which has gained much traction among consumers.
In contrast, Samsung has adjusted its production forecast for the Galaxy A57, scaling back to 1.6 million units from 1.8 million, while production for the Galaxy A17 is set at 3.9 million units, a decrease from the earlier estimate of 4.4 million.
