In an exciting development for smartphone enthusiasts, details regarding the pricing and release timeline for the HMD Crest 2 and Crest 2 Pro have come to light. The upcoming devices promise impressive specifications, and their launch appears imminent.

The HMD Crest 2 is expected to debut at a price of INR 14,999 (approximately $131) for the 6GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. This model is anticipated to be exclusive to the Indian market, echoing the strategy of its predecessor. Key features of the Crest 2 include a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 5G SoC, a 50MP primary camera, and a robust 6,000mAh battery supporting 33W fast charging.

On the other hand, the Crest 2 Pro is reported to have a launch price of INR 16,999 (around $183) for the same 8GB RAM and 256GB storage configuration. According to the latest information, this device will likely become available in Q3 of this year, specifically between July and September. The Crest 2 Pro is set to feature a similar 6.78-inch AMOLED display but will upgrade to a 120Hz refresh rate. It retains the Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 5G chipset while elevating the camera experience with a 64MP main sensor, all powered by the same 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging capability. Moreover, both models are expected to run on Android 16 right out of the box.

In addition to the Crest 2 series, HMD is also rumored to unveil a successor to the HMD Key, which made its debut in January of the previous year.

The HMD Key 2 is projected to launch in Europe, featuring a 6.56-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate, complemented by a 5MP front camera. It is anticipated to be powered by a Unisoc T310 chipset (12nm), equipped with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage, expandable via microSD. Additionally, the device will house a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging capabilities. The retail price is expected to fall within the £60-70 range upon its release.
