In an exciting announcement, Honor has unveiled its latest offerings: the X70 Refresh Edition smartphone and the Watch X5i smartwatch. While the X70 Refresh Edition revamps the original model with a fresh color option and updated software, the Watch X5i brings a stylish design along with advanced fitness tracking features, set to appeal to health enthusiasts.
Introducing the Honor X70 Refresh Edition
The newly launched Honor X70 Refresh Edition comes with three significant updates: a striking Sunrise Gold color option, MagicOS 10 powered by Android 16, and a price increase of CNY 300 ($44) compared to its predecessor. Apart from these modifications, all other specifications remain identical to those of the original Honor X70, which was first unveiled in July. The device boasts a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, a 50MP main camera, and an impressive 8,300 mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging.

Availability will likely be limited to China, similar to the original Honor X70. The pricing for the X70 Refresh Edition starts at CNY 1,699 ($247) for the 8/128GB variant and reaches CNY 2,399 ($349) for the model featuring 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Alongside the smartphone, Honor has revealed the Watch X5i, a smartwatch designed with fitness enthusiasts in mind. This device runs on a real-time operating system (RTOS) and does not support third-party applications, focusing instead on essential health and activity features.

The Watch X5i features a 1.97-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a resolution of 390 x 450 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and Always On Display (AOD) capability. Weighing just 41 grams (including the strap) and featuring a classy metallic midframe, this smartwatch is also rated 1ATM for water resistance, making it suitable for light moisture but not for swimming.
Users can monitor their health and fitness with standard tracking capabilities such as 24/7 heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen measurement, sleep analysis, and stress tracking. With over 100 sports modes to choose from, it caters to a broad range of fitness activities.
The Watch X5i connects via Bluetooth 5.4, enabling on-device calling and compatibility with Android, iOS, and HarmonyOS devices. Honor claims that the smartwatch can last up to 21 days on a single charge under normal usage conditions, or 6 days when using AOD mode, thanks to its 420mAh battery.

Available in Midnight Black and Starlight White, the Honor Watch X5i is priced at CNY 219 ($32) and can be purchased from Honor's official online store in China, with deliveries slated to begin on April 15.
