Honor Introduces Exciting New Tablets: Pad 10 Pro, Pad X10, and Pad X10 Pro
Honor has officially revealed three new mid-range tablets: the Honor Pad 10 Pro, a more advanced variant of last year's Pad 10, along with the Pad X10 and Pad X10 Pro. These devices promise enhanced performance and premium features while being competitively priced.
Honor Pad 10 Pro
The Honor Pad 10 Pro boasts impressive computing power housed in a sleek 6.1mm thick metal unibody design, weighing only 475g. In comparison, last year's Pad 10 measures 6.3mm and weighs 525g, while the Pad 9 Pro from 2024 is 6.6mm thick at 589g.
Despite its slender design, the Pad 10 Pro retains a robust 10,100mAh battery capacity, identical to that of the Pad 10, while the Pad 9 Pro features a slightly smaller 10,050mAh battery. All models support 35W wired charging.
The display has also been slightly scaled down, featuring an 11.5” LCD with a resolution of 2,800 x 1,840 pixels, 500 nits brightness, and a 144Hz refresh rate— decreased from 12.1” in previous models.
Powering the Pad 10 Pro is the Dimensity 8350 Ultimate chipset, boasting a 20% boost in CPU performance and a remarkable 60% increase in GPU performance versus its predecessor, the Dimensity 8100 found in the Pad 9 Pro.
This tablet excels in entertainment capabilities with support for 10-bit color and DCI-P3, featuring IMAX Enhanced and HDR Vivid options. An additional anti-glare coating is available for an extra cost, effectively reducing 98% of ambient light reflections.
On the audio front, it includes four speakers with DTS:X and HiRes Audio certification for an immersive experience.
The Pad 10 Pro supports the Honor Magic-Pencil 4s stylus, featuring 4,096 pressure levels and interchangeable nibs for a customizable writing experience. AI features such as handwriting conversion and audio transcription capabilities further enhance usability.
Launching with MagicOS 10 (Android 16), the tablet also supports multitasking and comes with WPS Office pre-installed. There's an optional keyboard cover for those requiring a more traditional workspace, making it comfortable for both business and educational use.
The Honor Pad 10 Pro is priced at CNY 2,700, available in China now, with a single configuration of 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The anti-glare coating can be added for an additional CNY 200. Details on global availability remain uncertain, though the basic Pad 10 is already being sold in Europe.
Honor Pad X10 and Pad X10 Pro
The Honor Pad X10 Pro features an 11.5” LCD with a resolution of 2,508 x 1,508 pixels, 120Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness. This tablet measures 6.77mm and weighs the same as its non-Pro sibling at 475g but features a smaller 8,300mAh battery.
The Honor Pad X10 sports a smaller 11” LCD, with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels and 90Hz refresh rate, as well as 500 nits brightness. Slightly thicker at 7.25mm and heavier at 499g, it compensates with a larger 10,100mAh battery. Note that the aspect ratios of the two screens differ, with the Pro featuring a 15:9 ratio and the standard X10 a 16:10 ratio.
The X10 is powered by the Snapdragon 680, while the Pro features the slightly upgraded Snapdragon 685. The Pad X10 comes with newer software MagicOS 10 (Android 16), whereas the X10 Pro retains MagicOS 9 (Android 15).
Both tablets boast quad speakers and robust designs targeting a younger audience, coming with pre-loaded kid-friendly software, including tools tailored for homework. The Pad X10 Pro starts at CNY 1,600 (discounted by CNY 100), while the Pad X10 starts at CNY 1,300 (CNY 300 off).
