Samsung is taking significant strides in expanding its One UI 8.5 beta program, welcoming a broader range of Galaxy devices into the fold. This initiative offers users an early glimpse of the upcoming features powered by Android 16, following the roll-out of stable One UI 8.5 on the recently launched Galaxy S26 series.
Initially, the One UI 8.5 beta program debuted for the Galaxy S25 series a few months ago, later extending to the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7. Now, the company has included additional models in response to user demand.
Owners of the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S25 FE, Galaxy S24 FE, and Galaxy Tab S11 can now participate in the One UI 8.5 beta testing program through the Samsung Members app. This enhancement reflects Samsung's commitment to keeping its users engaged and allowing them to experience the latest innovations firsthand.
Looking ahead, the beta program will continue to unfold, with plans to include even more Galaxy devices in April. However, availability will be restricted to select markets, including India, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Participants in the beta program will have the opportunity to explore various new features within One UI 8.5, such as enhanced Photo Assist, improved capabilities for Bixby, upgraded Quick Share functionality, and other AI-driven enhancements. It's important to note that while some features may be accessible immediately, Samsung typically rolls them out gradually in beta software releases.
