Last year, Luna launched its Gen 2 smart ring, and now the company is unveiling a significant upgrade that makes it "the world’s first wearable you can truly talk to."
With the new feature, users can use voice commands to log daily events, including meals, drinks, supplements, workouts, and even subjective feelings. This convenience reduces friction, allowing for more consistent logging without needing to pull out a phone.

The Luna Ring Gen 2 tracks a wide array of health metrics, starting with heart rate and heart rate variability. It also includes an SpO2 monitor and a sleep tracker. A skin temperature sensor aids in women’s health and fertility tracking.
The device is equipped with a hydration reminder and caffeine window feature that tailors its notifications based on your logged intake, reminding you to hydrate if you haven’t consumed enough water.
With Luna Voice, track your day and consult AI about your health.
Additionally, users can leverage the voice chat feature to create personalized workout and nutrition plans. During exercise, the AI Coach provides guidance, and post-workout, users can engage with the AI about their health based on the data collected by the ring. One limitation for iOS users is that they must access Luna Voice through Siri, a requirement imposed by Apple.
The ring boasts a battery life of 4-7 days, depending on usage, while the charging case can extend this to up to 30 days. The ring requires 60-80 minutes of charging in the case, and the case itself must be charged for two hours once a month to maintain its 580mAh battery.

The Luna Ring Gen 2 is compatible with both Android and iOS devices and does not require a monthly subscription. It features a PVD-coated titanium exterior (available in four colors) and a non-allergenic, non-metallic inner lining for comfort. Additionally, it is rated for 5 ATM water resistance, allowing for immersion up to 50 meters.
Consumers can purchase the Luna Ring Gen 2 from Luna’s online store for $330/£300.
“This marks a fundamental shift in what a wearable is. The Luna Ring no longer just measures the body; it understands context, connects daily behavior with biometrics, and communicates in a way that fits naturally into real life,” said Amit Khatri, Founder at Luna.
