The Kia EV2, the company's most affordable electric vehicle, was spotted in traffic in Korea, showcasing its design without any camouflage. Official images align with what has been seen in motion, despite only a brief video capture available.
With a starting price of €29,900, the EV2 is built on a 400V platform rather than the 800V system used by its more expensive counterparts, resulting in slower charging times. However, the car offers battery options of 42.2kWh and 61kWh, which are likely to deliver reasonable charging durations.
Standard features include both 11kW and 22kW AC charging capabilities. Inside, it boasts two 12.3-inch touchscreens complemented by a 5.3-inch climate control display, maintaining Kia's signature style. Performance specifications are yet to be announced, suggesting they may not be particularly noteworthy.
