The Camon 50 series from Tecno has a new addition: the Camon 50 Pro 5G. Following the design cues of the recently introduced Camon 50 Ultra, this model is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset. It comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, the 50 Pro 5G boasts a robust 6,500mAh battery that supports 45W wired charging.

The device showcases a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display, offering 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz. Users will find a 50MP selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner integrated into the panel.
On the rear, the phone features a triple-camera setup anchored by a 50MP main camera (23mm equivalent) equipped with Sony’s LYT700C (1/1.56") sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). It also includes a 50MP telephoto lens with a 70mm equivalent and 3x optical zoom, along with an 8MP ultrawide sensor (14mm) with an f/2.2 aperture.

With an IP68/IP69K rating for resistance against dust and water, the Camon 50 Pro 5G runs on Android 16, layered with Tecno HiOS 16.

This model is offered in Moonshadow Black, Cypress Green, Nebula Titanium, and Misty Purple. Currently, the Camon 50 Pro 5G is available for pre-order in Indonesia, with expected deliveries starting on March 26. The base version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at IDR 5,599,000 ($332), while the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at IDR 6,099,000 ($361).

Furthermore, the similarly equipped Camon 50 Ultra is anticipated to launch in Europe later this year with a starting price of €400.
