Honor Magic9 to Feature Larger Battery Than OnePlus 15T in Similar Size

Recent rumors from China indicate that Honor is testing its upcoming Magic9, which will feature a 6.36-inch flat OLED display and an impressive battery capacity of around 8,000 mAh. The device is also expected to include a periscope telephoto camera, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and support for wireless charging.

If these details prove accurate, the Magic9 will not only be more compact than its predecessor, but it will also boast the largest battery of any phone within its size category, surpassing the soon-to-be-released OnePlus 15T, which is anticipated to include a 7,500 mAh battery in a similarly sized chassis.

The launch date for the Honor Magic9 is still uncertain, although it is likely to debut alongside the Magic9 Pro. For context, the Magic8 and Magic8 Pro were officially announced in mid-October, suggesting there are still several months before the new models are introduced.
